I'm sitting watching a documentary on youth crime and the recent explosion of knife attacks in the UK and the most suggested solution is either bringing back the public stocks or making them join the Army. Surely I can't be the only that thinks the last thing you should give to someone who likes to stab people is a big fuck off gun?

Does anyone know what the turn around time is for getting new lenses into old glasses frames? I need to up my perscription, but I adore my frames, and only have one pair of glasses...Or how are those el cheapo ones from the chemist in the short term?

Having just become the proud parent of a seven week old Blue Heeler, I am looking for a puppy school.

I currently live in Newport (Williamstown for those who don't know where that is) But I am willing to travel for a highly recommended trainer, however West or South East would be good. I'd prefer classes, so he can socialise too, rather than private.

I don't even know what a reasonable price range for sessions would be either...

I am planning on practicing a few things with him in the next few days, mainly how to walk on the lead, properly.

His Dad is very smart & I taught him a few things with ease, so I anticipate it should be smooth sailing as his personality is much like his Daddy's.

I'm just stating to apply for rental properties and am looking for advice!

I'm getting all my references together with the application and putting them in a folder to give to the agents at the inspections which was recommended in another post.

I'm moving in with a friend and we both work full time (I'm a student as well) but where only 21 and with the market being so competitive at the moment I don't like our chances.

How likely is it that people will be offering more than the advertised price at the inspections?
